Christmas is coming early to Rhyl. Family-run Pario Holiday Parks is staging a three-day Christmas weekend at Marine Holiday Park from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November, with 90s pop group East 17 headlining on the Saturday night.

The weekend includes a performance of A Christmas Carol, a children's disco and festive entertainment on the Saturday, before East 17 take to the stage in the evening. On the Sunday, Father Christmas arrives with real reindeer to meet younger visitors.

"Christmas is all about spending time together and we wanted to create a weekend that has something genuinely exciting for every member of the family," said Rio Williams, group director at Pario Holiday Parks. "Stay Another Day is such an iconic part of Christmas, so having them perform as part of the weekend feels like the perfect way to start the festive season."

Fellow group director Paris Williams said that as a family-run business, creating experiences families can enjoy together is incredibly important.

Pario operates Marine Holiday Park in Rhyl, Tan Rallt Holiday Park and Spa in Abergele and Bryn Defaid Holiday Park, and on the Llŷn Peninsula it runs Gimblet Rock Holiday Park in Pwllheli and Crugan Holiday Park in Llanbedrog.

The group has also become the new custodian of the former RNLI building next to Gimblet Rock, which will provide an additional facility for holiday home owners at Gimblet Rock and Crugan. Pario will work with Sarah Hattle and the team at Hafan Pwllheli Marina to bring the building into use, creating new jobs in the area. "As a North Wales family-run business, we are very proud to be investing further in the area and helping to create local jobs for local people," said owner Samantha Williams.

The Christmas weekend is a chance for families to start the festive season with a short break by the sea, with breaks starting from £50 per person.

Breaks for the Christmas weekend at Marine Holiday Park, on the coast at Rhyl, are available through Pario Holiday Parks.
