For anyone who loves rummaging through rails of vintage clothing, Wrexham's Tŷ Pawb has become the place to be. The Artisan, Vintage and Flea Market, organised by The Artisan Market Company in collaboration with The Stellar Boutique, a vintage and custom fashion shop, brings together independent sellers under one roof.

The market's most recent outing, its final event of the year, ran from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 17 October and offered vintage clothing and accessories, preloved fashion, handmade jewellery, artisan crafts, quirky collectables and retro homewares, along with vinyl records. Sellers included Quiet Riot Vintage, BetsyDoodles, The Potting Corner, Sali RH Jewellery and Red Bank Studios.

"Wrexham we're coming to town and we're bringing our Artisans with us!" the organisers said. "There's going to be an incredible mix of vintage fashion, artisan crafts, collectables, vinyl and preloved clothing to discover."

Sustainability is part of the appeal. The market encourages shoppers to support independent businesses and to embrace sustainable shopping by giving second-hand items a new home. The organisers invited shoppers to search the rails and stalls for forgotten treasures and handmade crafts, then relax with a drink from the bar and some street food from a variety of hot food sellers once their shopping bags were full.

The markets are free to enter, open to all ages and dog-friendly, with wheelchair access and parking on site.

For shoppers who care about where their clothes come from, a preloved jacket or a vintage dress from a local seller is a stylish choice, and every purchase keeps money with small independent traders rather than big chains.

Tŷ Pawb, on Market Street in Wrexham city centre, combines arts, markets and food under one roof, with exhibitions, art classes and workshops, comedy nights and an indoor market alongside its food court.

With Christmas approaching, the venue is also hosting the Wrexham Christmas Makers Market on 21 November, giving shoppers another chance to find handmade gifts, from textiles and jewellery to ceramics and prints.
